Series Description  Records of conviction transmitted by convicting magistrates or Justices to the Registrar of the Supreme Court. Many relate to Aboriginal Natives and others relate to summary convictions. In either case the record of the conviction was required by law to be transmitted to the Registrar of the Supreme Court. Information given is person's name, offence, date of conviction and sentence. Signed by the Justices or magistrates. Some records of conviction may be held with the criminal indictment files (WAS 122) particularly CONS 3473.
