Series Description  Letters of Administration are granted by the Court in cases where a person has died intestate (without a will) or when the executors cited in a testator's will are unable to administer the estate.

Typically, these records show:

1) the name of the deceased,

2) the date & place of death,

3) the names of those appointed by the Court to administer the estate. The gross value and the net value of the estate may also be recorded.

These records may be consulted and copied without written permission of the Principal Registrar of the Supreme Court.
